TSA Employee Union Protests Removal of Nude Scanners
The American Socialist Federation of Government Employees, a branch of the International Union of Civil Servants and Collective Administrators, has launched a formal grievance with the State Committee for the Safety of Public Employees against the USSA’s Transportation Safety Administration due to the removal of ‘nude scanners’ from State airports. If the scanners are not returned to all airports, the Union plans to appeal the matter to the Central Committee of the Party, since the union believes the TSA is violating the Civil Rights of TSA employees by subjecting them to increased danger if they cannot closely inspect the nude bodies of passengers.
